Hospice and Palliative Medicine

Hospice and palliative medicine providers focus on end-of-life care and comfort, managing symptoms, pain relief and helping the patient reach the best possible function in daily life. Services include support and intervention to help the patient and family members through a difficult time. The goal of hospice care is to not only provide the terminally ill patient and the family with a comfortable experience, but to also enable the person to live to the fullest, even with a terminal prognosis.
